EuroBronyCon 2021 – Postponed
Dear Bronies and Pegasisters,
Unfortunately we have to announce that EuroBronyCon is not going to take place on the new date of 21.-23.05.2021. It was a very hard decision to take for the team but the international development of the Covid-19 crisis creates a risk that we are simply not willing to take. It would be irresponsible to the team members but also to all visitors to organize an event that we might have to cancel a few weeks in advance because of unforeseeable restrictions.
When we were looking for a new date for EuroBronyCon in the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis, we didn’t think that it would last this long. We didn’t think about a second or even a third lockdown. And to not make the same mistake again, we will postpone EuroBronyCon until further notice. At least until the Covid-19 crisis is over, we will not announce any new date for EuroBronyCon. And since we can not know when this is going to happen, we will refund all tickets that have already been sold and close our ticket shop as well as all applications.
We will try to refund all tickets before Christmas. Money will be transferred to the same account and with the same payment method that you bought your ticket(s) with. If you have any questions regarding ticket refunds or if you don’t receive the refund for your ticket(s) until the end of December, please contact us via tickets@bronycon.eu
Best regards,
EuroBronyCon Team
Current Covid-19 international entry restriction for Austria:
Currently, most EU citizens are allowed to enter Austria without any restrictions. There are two lists of countries that are considered either “Covid-19 safe” or “not Covid-19 safe” and these lists are published by the Austrian government. Countries get added regularly according to their Covid-19 situation. If your country is on the “Covid-19 safe” list, you are able to enter Austria without restrictions if you have spent the last 10 days in a “Covid-19 safe” country.
If your country is on the “not Covid-19 safe” list (like Portugal, Sweden, Russia or the USA) or if your country is on none of the lists, you can still enter Austria, but you have to provide a negative Covid-19 test that is not older than 72 hours.
